Audition Process
DATE of Auditions: July 8th, 2023. 12-6pm at the NMSU Music building
Dress Code for Auditions:
- Hair: in a mid-high bun
- Makeup: there will be a video tutorial from our hair and makeup stylist on the YouTube for that.
- Clothing: Please wear all black or any form of dark athletic wear if possible.
- Shoes: Tennis shoes! and if you have them, Folklorico shoes. (No worries, if not)
- Skirts: Please bring a skirt if you have one! if you need one, please email us your height and weight.
- Bring snacks and a lunch!
Audition Material
- There will be 3 dances you will learn, there are tutorials on our YouTube that will help you with the beginning steps:)
- The fight song (Skirt Work)
- El Circo (Footwork Technique)
- West Side Story (Modern and Theatrical with Skirt)
